Our story begins in the lush fields of thousands of small and marginal farmers, whose livelihoods are intricately linked to Katori. These 5000+ farmers form the backbone of our women’s collectives from whom our units directly source premium quality produce.
From providing native seeds and know-how to offering hands-on training and guidance on scientific and organic growing techniques and rearing indigenous breeds of cattle, our grassroots programme is dedicated to helping our farmers migrate to cleaner, greener, and chemical-free growing practices that nourish rather than decay their land and while generating better returns over the longer term.
